Hemisphere

Private Portfolio Management

Wealth management is a complex business that too often trades personalized service for one-size-fits-all solutions and relationship managers or corporate contacts. With Hemisphere’s client-centered approach, our clients deal directly with the portfolio manager overseeing their assets. We are passionate about building relationships based on a deep understanding of our client’s needs and goals.

Our Private Portfolio Management service is available to individuals, holding companies, trusts, estates and charities with investable assets greater than $750,000. This service involves a highly flexible, customized approach to managing investment portfolios comprised of publicly-traded securities including high-quality bonds, preferred shares, and equity positions. All client accounts are segregated with safe-keeping provided by third party custodians.

Flexibility through our Private Portfolio Management service allows us to tailor a portfolio specific to you. Whether this be restrictions on certain share holdings or specific environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations, we look forward to working with you to meet your needs.

We provide discretionary portfolio management through a holistic process. This is an ongoing process that requires regular review to capture any personal changes throughout your wealth journey.

Through a diligent discovery and consultation process, we learn about your goals, constraints and risk tolerance.

Using the details from the discovery process, we develop an Investment Policy Statement (IPS) which is reviewed at least annually. The IPS forms the basis for your asset mix and the investment decision-making process.
We utilize our pooled funds, evaluate select ETFs and individual securities to build a diversified portfolio that reflects the framework established in your IPS.
Select Managed Portfolio clients receive Hemisphere reports on a quarterly basis and generally meet with their portfolio manager on an annual basis. During these meetings we review the investment portfolio, discuss our outlook for the financial markets.
