Colin Maclachlan

TV Star
Colin Maclachlan, now a captivating reality TV star, is an operator with over 30 years of security and risk-related experience. He joined the army in 1989 and after nine years in the Royal Scots he was selected at age 23 into 22 SAS. Colin was fortunate enough to have been involved in some high profile and daring missions. Only a handful of men have been involved in hostage negotiations, hostage rescue and been a hostage themselves and Colin is one of them. Colin left the SAS shortly after completing an exchange program with both Delta Force and Seal Team 6 and, after a stint in security consultancy, decided to fund himself through university where he attained a First Class MA (Hons.) in History from Edinburgh University and an M.Litt in Terrorism from St. Andrews University.
Colin has founded his own charity Who Dares Cares that supports veterans and others who encounter stress. He is an experienced presenter and host and is co-founder of Stoic Events, a team building organization. His autobiography entitled The Pilgrim is out in 2025.
